Home automation built with raspberry pi and a raspi cam
A homemade surveillance system which snaps photos every 5 seconds and through image processing checks if anything happened between the last frames. If something deviates from the last frame, the camera snaps a video-recording of 30 seconds and uploads the video to the cloud and alerts me via email. Backups are created and uploaded to cloud storage and a small web application was created to enable viewing of a live stream of snapped images to check the current state of the surveillance.
